Profile
Jambo!
Hello! I am Nia, a comedian and writer based in Atlanta, GA. During my time at Emory University, I participated in the only improv team before moving onto writing for the Spoke, our college satire magazine.
Outside of school, I am an avid improviser and a grateful recipient of the Dad’s Garage Diversity Scholarship that allows me to study what I love with the amazing teachers at Atlanta’s best comedy theater.
I am also a regular stand up performer, with my first hour special out on YouTube now! You can catch me in open mics around Atlanta.
Having taken workshops in playwriting and filmmaking, I have a portfolio of comedic short films and plays you can check out on the writing section of this page!
Onto the important stuff: Team Edward forever, I can quote every word of Ratatouille, and Beyoncé til I die.
What I Offer
My unique history as a math teamer turned comedian, proclivity to get rejected, and long-term struggle with adult acne makes me a prime candidate for comedy.
I love working with others and would be ecstatic to lend my comedic services to you or your company’s needs!

I have almost completed all levels of training with Dad’s Garage Theater and I am also currently taking intro classes with a highly sought after teacher in Atlanta, Madeline Evans. You can find me around Atlanta in improv james!
